In enzymology, an orsellinate decarboxylase () is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction :2,4-dihydroxy-6-methylbenzoate orcinol + CO2 Hence, this enzyme has one substrate, 2,4-dihydroxy-6-methylbenzoate, and two products, orcinol and CO2. This enzyme belongs to the family of lyases, specifically the carboxy-lyases, which cleave carbon-carbon bonds. The systematic name of this enzyme class is 2,4-dihydroxy-6-methylbenzoate carboxy-lyase (orcinol-forming). This enzyme is also called orsellinate carboxy-lyase. ==References== * 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Orsellinate decarboxylase」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
